Good memories of Bob growing giant pumpkins and bringing them along to the Albourne Village Show where a favourite game was "guess the weight of the pumpkin".  Bob was also a regular judge at the show and was very happy to share his knowledge and give tips to growers.  He followed the principle that rather than looking for perfection he needed to encourage people to grow - anything.  Great ethos.  He will be missed.
