Bob was well respected within the Trading Standards profession for almost 50 years and was well known for being very passionate about enforcing our corner stone weights and measures legislation. Bob had a very keen interest in precious metals and always ensured the public got what they paid for.  A mentor to many of his younger colleagues and a well-remembered character within the Trading Standards family, he will be greatly missed by many.
